Medication at School​

West End State School (WESS) follows the Department of Education’s Administration of medications in schools procedure to ensure the safe management of student health needs.

Parents and carers must inform the WESS administration if their child has specific medical needs or requires medication during school hours. Students are not permitted to self‑administer medication at school unless written permission has been granted by the Principal.​

Student medication is ​​​stored and administered at the following location:

  • Student Services (N Block) – Prep to ​​​Year 6​​
